Experienced Phlebotomist

Location: Onsite at patient service centers or client offices in Harrisville, Bridgeport, Dunbar, Princeton, or Summersville, West Virginia, or Grove City or Huber Heights, Ohio, United States. Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; travel to additional sites may be required.

What you will do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other testing.
• Prepare specimens for analysis and maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Enter patient data accurately and process billing information and payments.
• Provide customer service and complete administrative and clerical duties.
• Travel to additional work sites when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification, completion of a training program, or at least three months of phlebotomy experience.
• Accredited-agency certification or training is required when work experience is not provided.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation, overtime flexibility, and ability to pass a standardized color-blindness test.

Nice to have

• One year or more of phlebotomy experience.
