Phlebotomist - Part Time

Location: Onsite positions in Rahway, Woodbridge, and Hamilton, New Jersey; Owings, Maryland; Centreville, Virginia; Lowell and Dracut, Massachusetts; Wantagh and Shoreham, New York, United States

Pay: $17.75–$24.00 per hour, with potential quarterly performance-based incentive pay.

What you will do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain accurate patient and specimen logs.
• Enter patient information, process billing details, and collect payments when required.
• Provide customer service and complete administrative and clerical duties.
• Travel to additional patient service centers or client sites when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least one year of phlebotomy experience; 1.5 years or more is preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program may substitute for work experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation, flexibility for overtime, and ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
