Experienced Phlebotomist (Healthcare)

Location: Onsite positions in Bridgeport, Harrisville, Summersville, and Farmington, West Virginia; Winchester, Kentucky; Chesapeake and Norfolk, Virginia; Conway, South Carolina; New Brunswick, New Jersey; or Grove City, Ohio, United States.

What you will do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other laboratory analyses.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain accurate patient and specimen logs.
• Enter patient data, process billing information, and collect payments when required.
• Provide customer service and complete administrative and clerical duties.
• Travel to additional sites when needed and work in a patient service center or client office.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification, completion of an accredited training program, or at least 3 months of phlebotomy experience.
• Reliable transportation and availability to work onsite at assigned locations are required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a proven customer-service record.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision.
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test and work overtime when needed.

Nice to have

• At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience.
