Phlebotomist

Location: Saint Charles, Hazelwood, Chesterfield, and Earth City, Missouri; Carbondale, Maryville, and Shiloh, Illinois; or Winchester, Kentucky, United States. Onsite work in a patient service center or client office, with travel to additional sites when needed.

What you will do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Enter patient information accurately and process billing information and payments when required.
• Provide customer service and complete related administrative and clerical duties.
• Travel to additional work sites when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification, completion of a training program, or at least 3 months of phlebotomy experience.
• Certification or training used in place of experience must be from an accredited agency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a record of exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation, flexibility for overtime, and ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Nice to have

• At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience.
