Phlebotomist

Location: Chehalis, Washington, United States; additional listed locations include Vancouver, Portland, West Linn, Oregon City, Federal Way, and Yakima. The role involves working in a Patient Service Center or client office and traveling to additional sites when needed.

Salary: $22.30–$27.69 per hour, with eligibility for a quarterly incentive bonus based on performance metrics.

What you will do

• Perform blood collections through venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Enter patient data, process billing information, and collect payments when required.
• Provide customer service and complete related administrative and clerical duties.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Requirements

• Valid Washington State-issued phlebotomy license required.
• An application for a Washington phlebotomy license filed with the Department of Health at the time of hire may satisfy the license requirement.
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime and rotating Saturdays as needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• At least one year of phlebotomy experience.
• At least six months of current or prior hirify.global phlebotomy experience.
