Equipment Inspector

Location: Moerdijk, Noord-Brabant, Netherlands; full-time, onsite. Applicants must be legally entitled to work in the country where the position is located.

What you will do

• Perform accurate visual inspections and functional testing of heavy equipment.
• Gather and verify inventory information, including contract proofs, equipment additions, and serial numbers.
• Identify and record components, accessories, and asset details according to equipment standards.
• Verify equipment descriptions, data quality, and warranty-related requirements.
• Compose and take equipment photographs and provide support to the Detailed Equipment Information team.
• Assist the Sales team with field appraisals and write-ups between peak periods while maintaining strong safety standards.

Requirements

• Fluency in Dutch and/or English.
• Experience with equipment management, inspections, inventory, appraisals, or inventory control, preferably in auctions or heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of industrial or agricultural equipment, trucks, and trailers.
• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and digital cameras.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, attention to detail, time management, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, use two-way radios and desk phones, and maintain clear written records.
