Scrum Master (Top Secret Clearance - Remote US)

Location: Remote within the United States, with a preference for the National Capital Region and candidates near Reston, Virginia; foreign locations and foreign IP addresses are blocked. Quarterly travel to an office or client site may be required. Core working hours are 8am–5pm Eastern Time, with flexibility to start earlier or work later based on time zone.

Salary: $98,614–$167,644 per year for full-time employment.

What you will do

• Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile development teams and facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement.
• Remove delivery impediments and proactively manage risks and dependencies.
• Partner with Product Owners on backlog refinement, prioritization, and story readiness.
• Report on sprint progress, metrics, and delivery outcomes while fostering collaboration across developers, testers, UX, and program leadership.
• Align Agile practices with federal program requirements, security constraints, and compliance expectations, and support Agile transformation.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
• 7+ years of experience supporting Agile software development processes.
• Experience as a Scrum Master in complex, enterprise-scale environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, especially Scrum.
• Experience supporting federal or DoD IT programs.
• Scrum Master certification such as CSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Two years of experience working with DCSA.
