Lead Quality Assurance Analyst (Java/Angular)

Location: United States, remote; DMV region preferred. Must be US-based, a US citizen, and have lived in the U.S. for 3 of the last 5 years.

Salary: $98,614–$167,644 per year.

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of automated testing strategies and frameworks across multiple applications and services.
• Develop UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests for Java Spring Boot and Angular applications using Cypress, JUnit, and comparable tools.
• Integrate automated testing into Azure DevOps pipelines and cloud-native deployment workflows.
• Implement application security testing with Prisma Cloud, Checkmarx, OWASP ZAP, and similar tools.
• Coordinate customer-facing UAT, test planning, execution, results reporting, and quality metrics.
• Mentor QA engineers and developers while promoting quality engineering practices in Agile and DevOps teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software testing and quality engineering experience, including test automation.
• US citizenship and current or previous Public Trust designation; ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance required.
• Must reside in the U.S. and have lived in the U.S. for 3 of the last 5 years.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks, Java Spring Boot, Angular, Cypress, JUnit, CI/CD, Azure, microservices, and API testing.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, Agile/Scrum, and team development skills.

Nice to have

• Experience building automation frameworks from the ground up and supporting federal government software programs.
• Experience with DevSecOps testing, security scanning tools, UAT, and external stakeholders.
