TL;DR
Lead ATQC Engineer (AI/Software Testing): Designing scalable automated testing frameworks for large-scale European Commission digital solutions across web, API, backend, and mobile platforms with an accent on automation architecture, continuous testing, and enterprise-scale quality engineering. Focus on integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines, applying generative AI to test generation, and validating performance, security, and data quality.
Location: Bulgaria, Poland, or Romania; remote or office work

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, API, backend, and mobile testing.
- Define automation architecture, testing strategies, and quality engineering practices across multiple applications.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing and shift-left quality initiatives.
- Evaluate automation technologies aligned with DevSecOps and delivery objectives.
- Build automated reporting, quality dashboards, metrics, and regression testing suites.
- Collaborate with developers, QA specialists, and business stakeholders to improve release quality.
Requirements
- Advanced experience with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, RestAssured, and BDD frameworks such as Cucumber JVM or Behave.
- Strong Java expertise with OpenJDK 11, 17, and 21, plus JUnit, TestNG, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, GitLab CI, and modern CI/CD practices.
- Practical experience applying generative AI to automated test generation and quality engineering.
- Hands-on performance and load testing with Apache JMeter, along with strong SQL and Oracle database expertise.
- Knowledge of API security testing, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JJWT, Bearer token validation, Protocol Buffers, Jackson, and Gson.
- Professional proficiency in English or French at B2 level or higher, plus an EQF Level 6 or 7 degree and extensive quality engineering experience.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Angular and SCSS.
- Experience with Amazon Kiro.
- Understanding of grant lifecycle management, including submission, evaluation, agreements, reporting, and amendments.
