Senior Manager QA Engineering (AI)

Location: Remote in Brazil

Compensation starts at $8,900 per month.

What you will do

• Execute the quality engineering strategy across multiple engineering squads.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of QA engineers and analysts.
• Own test automation strategy, architecture, tooling, standards, coverage, and maintainability.
• Reduce manual regression testing through reliable automation and risk-based testing while maintaining appropriate exploratory coverage.
• Establish shared quality ownership across Quality, Engineering, and Product, including responsibilities, KPIs, risk management, and release readiness.
• Evaluate and operationalize AI-assisted approaches for test creation, execution, analysis, maintenance, and defect detection.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in QA engineering, software quality, or a related field, including 5+ years of people leadership.
• Experience defining and scaling test automation strategies, frameworks, tooling, and standards across complex software environments.
• Technical depth in automation architecture, code quality, CI/CD integrations, frameworks, and technical tradeoffs.
• Advanced expertise with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, and TestNG.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, software development lifecycles, defect management, test planning, Jira, TestRail, and quality metrics.
• Updated resume translated into English is required for consideration.

• Experience leading QA teams across multiple disciplines, products, or engineering squads.
• Experience using AI tools and automation to improve team efficiency or output quality.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong coaching, stakeholder management, transformation, and organizational change skills.
