Senior QA Engineer (Mobile/API)

Location: Fully remote from 25+ countries; GMT +3 timezone

What you will do

• Perform end-to-end testing across native iOS and Android applications, web products, and backend services.
• Own mobile application testing while supporting web and backend quality assurance.
• Test third-party integrations and SDKs, validating data integrity and integration stability.
• Develop and maintain automated tests for backend/API and web functionality using Java.
• Investigate defects with logs, monitoring systems, traffic inspection tools, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers throughout development and releases.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software QA experience.
• Strong hands-on experience testing native mobile applications on iOS and/or Android.
• Recent hands-on experience writing automated tests in Java.
• Experience with REST API testing using Postman, Swagger, and cURL.
• Experience with Charles, Proxyman, or Fiddler, and with monitoring tools such as Sentry, Firebase Crashlytics, or Kibana.
• Understanding of microservices, Agile/Scrum product development, Kafka, gRPC/Protobuf, Go-based services, and English at B1 level or higher.
