Senior Appian Developer (Appian)

Location: Remote within the United States; work must be performed in the United States. Must support US Eastern time zone working hours. Foreign locations, foreign IP addresses, and personal VPN connections are prohibited.

Salary: $98,614–$167,644 per year.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain large-scale, business-critical applications using Appian BPM.
• Develop Appian plugins and configure forms, reports, business logic, and interface components.
• Install and support application servers such as JBoss, WebLogic, and IIS.
• Configure, debug, and integrate enterprise systems and relational databases using SQL.
• Support all phases of software development using Agile methodologies.
• Contribute to RFIs, RFPs, prototypes, oral presentations, and technology practice growth activities.

Requirements

• US citizenship and residence in the United States are required.
• Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• 5+ years of recent hands-on experience with Appian BPM and Appian plugin development.
• 5+ years of experience with application servers, systems integration, relational databases, and SQL scripting.
• 5+ years of experience across the software development lifecycle for large-scale applications using Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, technical, written, verbal, interpersonal, teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Appian Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 developer certification.
• Experience with Appian Tempo, Appian Sites, Java, Maven, enterprise application integration, SOA, ESB, and n-tier architectures.
• Experience defining and documenting architecture for technology implementations.
• Federal government software development experience.
