Phlebotomist (Healthcare)

Location: Onsite positions in Wilmington, Delaware; Easton, Maryland; Jackson, New Jersey; Dover, Delaware; Newark, Delaware; Middletown, Delaware; Wayne, New Jersey; and Wrightstown, Pennsylvania, United States

What you will do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain accurate patient and specimen logs.
• Enter patient information, process billing details, and collect payments when needed.
• Provide customer service and complete administrative and clerical duties.
• Travel to additional sites when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification, completion of a training program, or at least 3 months of phlebotomy experience.
• Accredited-agency certification or training is required in lieu of work experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation, overtime flexibility, and ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Nice to have

• At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience.
