Senior Scientist (Immunochemistry)

What you will do

• Design, develop, optimize, qualify, transfer, and validate ligand binding assays for pharmacokinetic, anti-drug antibody, and biomarker applications.
• Analyze biological samples using validated methods and review analytical data, quality control results, and study documentation.
• Lead bioanalytical projects, coordinate laboratory activities, manage resources, and deliver study milestones.
• Troubleshoot assay, equipment, and process issues while implementing corrective actions and continuous improvements.
• Train and mentor junior scientists and contribute to protocols, validation plans, reports, methods, and SOPs.
• Present scientific findings, study progress, and technical recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Immunology, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Extensive hands-on experience developing and validating ligand binding assays for pharmacokinetic and anti-drug antibody bioanalysis.
• Expertise with immunoassay platforms such as ELISA, ECL/MSD, Gyrolab, or comparable technologies.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot complex assay and analytical challenges.
• Strong data analysis, scientific writing, communication, and laboratory documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting regulated GLP or GCLP bioanalytical studies.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry guidance for bioanalytical method validation.
• Experience leading projects, mentoring junior scientists, and working directly with clients in a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology environment.
