Laboratory Supervisor (Clinical Laboratory)

What you will do

• Supervise daily production and non-production activities of laboratory employees.
• Monitor the quality, timeliness, and regulatory compliance of testing services.
• Assign and schedule trained personnel to meet daily workflow and resource requirements.
• Provide technical and behavioral supervision, troubleshooting, training, and performance feedback.
• Coordinate validations, surveys, performance reports, audits, client visits, and inquiries.
• Support the department manager with resource planning, employee evaluations, development plans, and delegated management duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, another Life Science, or a Medical Technology degree.
• Good communication skills and computer literacy.
• Fluent English is preferred.
• Fluent Japanese is preferred.

Nice to have

• Six or more years of laboratory experience after clinical training, including supervisory or management experience.
• Professional certification such as ASCP or AABB.
