What you will do

• Execute the non-promotional medical and scientific strategy for the Influenza and Covid vaccines portfolio in Japan.
• Lead integrated evidence planning and execution, including stakeholder evidence-needs assessment and data-gap analysis.
• Develop and implement medical plans that support improved standards of care and clinical practice.
• Build collaborative relationships with commercial, medical, regulatory, clinical, health economics, value and access, and marketing functions.
• Engage external experts and collaborate with regional and global colleagues on strategic plans.
• Create timely, relevant, interactive, and innovative digital educational and scientific content.

Requirements

• Doctorate-level education preferred: MD or equivalent medical degree, PhD, or PharmD.
• Industry medical affairs and/or clinical experience is mandatory.
• Relevant experience in immunology, vaccinology, epidemiology, public health, internal medicine, acute medicine, or intensive care is preferred.
• Understanding of clinical development, real-world evidence, data generation, and data-gap analysis.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to lead challenging discussions and adapt communication to healthcare professional preferences.
• Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, use omnichannel tools, and influence cross-functional networks.
