Junior Business Systems Analyst (Information Technology)

Location: Fully remote from any U.S. state; candidates must be U.S. citizens, reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and perform all work in the U.S. The posting is associated with Reston, Virginia.

Salary: $55,665–$94,631 per year; anticipated pay is in the $60K range.

What you will do

• Support the full digital software development lifecycle from requirements and research through design, testing, and delivery.
• Gather and analyze requirements through stakeholder interviews, document reviews, questionnaires, business process analysis, use cases, and system reviews.
• Document requirements using BDD specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, UML diagrams, workflows, use cases, and user guides.
• Maintain requirements traceability, refine and prioritize requirements, facilitate team meetings, and document UX discussions.
• Define and execute test scenarios and procedures while documenting results.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, designers, UX researchers, Scrum Masters, and multidisciplinary Agile teams.

Requirements

• Completed bachelor's degree by the start date.
• U.S. citizenship, U.S. residence, U.S. work authorization, and the ability to perform all work in the U.S. are required.
• Advanced analytical, documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and work effectively in an Agile software development environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile delivery tools.
• Scrum Master or Agile certification or training.
• Business process analysis and diagramming with tools such as Microsoft Visio or Mural.
• Ability to pass required background checks.
