Location: Hybrid work from hirify.global's offices in Crystal City (Arlington), Virginia; Waltham, Massachusetts; or New York City

Salary: $55,424–$94,221 per year; anticipated pay is in the mid-$60K range.

What you will do

• Research vehicle electrification, alternative fuels, emissions reduction, transportation decarbonization, and advanced transportation technologies.
• Track electric and alternative-fuel vehicle markets, including trends, policies, and key industry participants.
• Analyze locations for electric vehicle charging infrastructure and alternative-fuel stations.
• Develop communications, outreach, and training materials such as case studies, fact sheets, webinars, presentations, and event content.
• Collect and maintain data while producing accurate, timely, and high-quality project deliverables.
• Communicate with clients and collaborate with project teams supporting federal clients, including the National Laboratory of the Rockies and the U.S. Department of Energy.

Requirements

• Entry-level, full-time position expected to begin in Summer 2027.
• Bachelor's degree in transportation, environmental science, energy, public policy, or a related field.
• Knowledge of transportation energy policy and regulatory contexts.
• Knowledge of electric vehicles and alternative fuels.
• Ability to conduct market research, collect data, develop written materials, and communicate with clients.

Nice to have

• Experience with government-supported electric or alternative-fuel vehicle deployment programs.
• Public agency consulting experience.
• Alternative-fuel vehicle market research and data collection experience.
