Project Analyst, SETA 1

Location: Hybrid in Alexandria, Virginia, United States

Salary: $61,232–$104,094 per year for full-time employment

What you will do

• Support science and engineering innovation programs for the National Science Foundation.
• Support grants, cooperative agreements, acquisitions, and award management, including review coordination.
• Coordinate program meetings, schedules, tasks, deliverables, and communication with program members and data analytics staff.
• Improve administrative business processes and support research, development, and programmatic activities.
• Analyze data and identify meaningful connections to inform business decisions, process improvements, and program recommendations.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree or equivalent education and experience.
• At least five years of research and development experience in grants management, project management, and research project support.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong communication, multitasking, analytical, scheduling, and project coordination skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s or PhD degree.
• Experience in the innovation ecosystem or with a federal government research funding agency in a SETA role.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization, survey implementation, project strategy, technical reporting, and project management tools.
• Experience managing industry-university collaborations, technology transfer, commercialization, and research projects.
