Experienced Phlebotomist Float

Location: Grove City, Ohio, with travel to additional sites in Aurora, Southfield, Winston-Salem, Charlotte, Chattanooga, Fayetteville, Florence, and Oxon Hill

Salary: $17.75–$25.92 per hour, plus a $2.00 per hour float incentive and mileage reimbursement

What you will do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other examinations.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Enter patient data accurately, process billing information, and collect payments when required.
• Provide customer service and complete administrative and clerical duties.
• Travel to additional patient service centers as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification, an accredited training program, or at least three months of phlebotomy experience.
• At least two years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test and be at least 21 years old.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, flexibility for overtime, and ability to work independently or with a team.
