Salary: $139,000–$163,200 per year

What you will do

  • Lead the development, implementation, daily operations, and long-term growth of the proton therapy program.
  • Ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered services through regulatory compliance, accreditation, quality assurance, and evidence-based practice.
  • Optimize clinical workflows, operational processes, performance improvement initiatives, and patient experience.
  • Integrate proton therapy services across the oncology continuum in partnership with physicians, clinical teams, researchers, administrators, the Jimmy Fund Clinic, and Boston Children’s Hospital.
  • Manage budgets, performance indicators, resource utilization, operational data, and Determination of Need requirements.
  • Recruit, supervise, mentor, and develop project managers and administrative staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy required; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least eight years of clinical and technical experience in radiation oncology.
  • At least two years of dedicated quality and safety experience, including quality improvement or risk management committee work.
  • Knowledge of radiation oncology operations, proton therapy, clinical workflows, regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and emerging technologies.
  • Experience with strategic planning, financial management, operational integration, change management, performance measurement, and multidisciplinary leadership.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records, oncology information systems, data analytics, reporting tools, and project management platforms.

Nice to have

  • Experience in healthcare operational integration, expansion, or operational transformation.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
