Director, Risk Management & Patient Safety (KFH/HP)

Location: Downey, California; onsite

Salary: $175,600–$258,100 per year

What you will do

• Lead clinical risk management and patient safety programs within an acute care hospital.
• Oversee root cause analyses, failure mode and effects analyses, and clinical chart reviews.
• Manage infection prevention and architectural infection-control activities.
• Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance.
• Identify risks, implement corrective actions, and analyze patient safety, quality, and population health data.
• Partner with hospital leadership and clinical teams.

Requirements

• Recent acute care hospital risk management experience.
• CPHRM certification.
• RN license preferred or required.
• Experience with root cause analysis, failure mode and effects analysis, and patient safety.
• Experience with infection prevention, architectural infection control, and healthcare cybersecurity risk.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
