Salary: USD 111.24-160.19 per hour

What you will do

  • Manage medical physics operations for a radiotherapy clinic.
  • Perform complex treatment planning, patient positioning support, and machine and patient quality assurance.
  • Conduct acceptance testing, commissioning, data characterization, and system evaluation for radiation therapy equipment.
  • Develop treatment protocols, procedural guidelines, technical documentation, and equipment specifications.
  • Oversee radiation safety, machine maintenance coordination, treatment plan verification, and patient chart checks.
  • Provide dosimetry consultation to physicians, support imaging-guided treatment delivery, and supervise medical physics assistants, residents, and dosimetrists.

Requirements

  • ABR Board Certified Therapeutic Medical Physicist.
  • Illinois Emergency Management Registered Therapeutic Radiological Physicist required.
  • Experience operating treatment units delivering IMRT, SBRT, and HDR brachytherapy.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, QA software, and clinical documentation systems.
  • Strong communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.

Nice to have

  • PhD.
  • 1-3 years of experience.
  • Illinois Emergency Management Registered Diagnostic Imaging Specialist.
