hirify.global, Inc. is hiring for a purchasing role supporting manufacturing operations.

What you will do

• Create, issue, and manage purchase orders in line with department policies.
• Negotiate supplier pricing and delivery schedules and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Resolve discrepant receipts, invoice queries, and other purchasing issues with internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate new supplier setup through to completion.
• Work with production, quality control, engineering, and finance to align procurement with operational needs.
• Generate departmental KPIs, respond to SAP purchasing queries, manage low-level contracts below £25K per year, and provide rotational out-of-hours support.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or an industrial environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of procurement software within ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently under pressure, manage competing priorities, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and inventory management techniques.

Nice to have

• Progress toward a CIPS or CPIM qualification.
