Senior MEP Cost Manager

Location: On-site in Groningen, Netherlands; candidates must have the legal right to work in the Netherlands and be based in or willing to relocate to Groningen.

What you will do

• Analyse tenders and bids for MEP packages to support value-for-money decisions.
• Support the settlement of construction disputes and loss-and-expense claims involving mechanical, electrical, and process installations.
• Manage supply chain valuations through the Earned Value Management process and prepare cost reports.
• Prepare and agree final accounts, including MEP-specific claims.
• Develop estimates and cost plans for key client developments, with a focus on MEP elements.
• Mentor employees, lead MEP cost management activities, and provide timely cost documentation and communication.

Requirements

• Experience as an MEP cost manager on large-scale, complex data centre, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, or heavy industrial projects.
• Technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, or process systems and installations.
• Degree or comparable experience in quantity surveying, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Legal right to work in the Netherlands and willingness to be based in or relocate to Groningen.
