Material Handler Lead - WKND Shift

Location: Blaine, Minnesota, United States; onsite weekend shift

Salary: $23.90–$44.40 per hour

What you will do

• Coordinate the timely movement of materials into, within, and out of manufacturing.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and computer terminals used in the assigned area.
• Coordinate employee training on standard work, quality requirements, and procedures.
• Respond professionally to internal customer concerns.
• Participate in Kaizen events and drive waste reduction through Lean methodology.
• Support continuous improvement, problem solving, and decision making with team members and supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Lead experience preferred, with 1–3 years of production experience preferred.
• Experience with Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, JD Edwards, and the Internet.
• Knowledge of material flow processes and safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to conduct operator training and promote compliance with standard work and safety requirements.
• Reliable attendance and the ability to work effectively in a changing, high-pressure environment.
