Senior Cost Manager (DC sector)

What you will do

• Manage tender and bid processes from documentation through analysis and reporting.
• Prepare estimates, cost plans, valuations, and cost reports for key client developments.
• Manage project cost changes, including identifying, analyzing, approving, and implementing variations.
• Review final accounts, claims, construction disputes, and loss and expense claims to support client value.
• Communicate cost documentation and variations clearly to project stakeholders.
• Mentor employees and support their performance and professional growth.

Requirements

• Experience as a Senior Cost Manager, preferably in a consultancy environment and on large-scale projects.
• Experience in pre-contract cost management, budget control, cost planning, and change management.
• Knowledge of alternative construction materials.
• Chartered status or progress toward chartership.
• Degree or comparable experience in project management or construction.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
