Construction and Tool Install Project Manager (Contract)

Location: On-site at the hirify.global campus in Kulim or Penang, Malaysia

hirify.global Foundry Construction and Sourcing delivers large-scale semiconductor manufacturing facilities, fab conversions, process tool installations, infrastructure, and progressive-build projects.

What you will do

• Plan and deliver construction projects from initiation through closeout.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, contracts, compensation strategies, project controls, and change management.
• Coordinate mechanical, process, bulk gas, electrical, architectural, water, PSSS, IT, and instrumentation and controls disciplines.
• Partner with customer management, Tool Install, Facilities Operations, and Factory teams to develop and execute integrated project plans.
• Direct construction project teams and allocate resources across the project.
• Drive safety, quality, and cost-efficiency programs throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field.
• At least 4 years of experience in construction project management for major industrial facilities, large-scope base-build projects, and/or tool equipment installation.
• Experience with construction management practices, operating procedures, project and construction contracts, and project controls.
• Leadership, communication, organization, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills.
• Ability to work on-site at the Kulim or Penang campus in Malaysia.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of relevant construction project management experience with a master’s degree.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Semiconductor industry experience.
