Staff Product Mobile Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Denver, New York City, or San Francisco; employees in these locations are expected to work from the office approximately 2–3 days per week. A two-day visit to a hirify.global office is required for onboarding.

Salary: $163,000–$204,000 in Denver and most remote locations; $197,000–$247,000 in San Francisco and New York. Stock equity is additional.

What you will do

• Architect, build, and deploy native mobile features across iOS with SwiftUI and Android with Jetpack Compose.
• Use shared GraphQL schemas and contracts to deliver end-to-end financial product experiences.
• Drive technical work from product concept and architecture through launch, monitoring, and long-term scaling.
• Build mobile infrastructure, automated testing, and release pipelines for dual-platform development.
• Apply AI tools such as Claude to accelerate platform translation, improve code quality, and increase development velocity.
• Mentor engineers, define mobile architecture standards, and participate in cross-platform code reviews.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional mobile software development experience with deep expertise in Swift/iOS or Kotlin/Android.
• Experience with SwiftUI or Jetpack Compose, reactive state management, and unidirectional data flow.
• Ability and interest in developing across both iOS and Android platforms.
• Experience leading multi-quarter technical initiatives from scoping and architecture through launch and post-release monitoring.
• Experience with GraphQL, offline caching, state synchronization, and complex mobile data contracts.
• Strong product judgment and ability to resolve ambiguous mobile architecture and technical trade-off problems.

Nice to have

• Production experience shipping features across Swift/SwiftUI and Kotlin/Jetpack Compose.
• Fintech or banking experience building high-reliability mobile applications.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing environments, and build and release systems.
• Experience with MVVM or modern unidirectional architecture patterns.
