Cloud Services DevOps Engineer

Location: Wyoming, Michigan, United States; standard office environment. Participation in an on-call rotation, occasional weekend support, and light travel are required.

What you will do

• Build, provision, manage, and scale performant cloud environments using infrastructure as code.
• Write and optimize CI/CD pipelines for software builds, testing, and continuous deployment.
• Monitor network, storage, and compute services and maintain platform health.
• Apply shift-left security across cloud and platform layers.
• Partner with application teams to design cloud-ready architectures and resolve infrastructure challenges.
• At the senior level, define architectural direction, roadmaps, capacity planning, and cross-functional technology projects.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or SaltStack.
• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenStack, or software-defined networking such as VLANs, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, Shell, Ruby, or Perl.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Artifactory, Nexus, and Git version control.
• Intermediate level: 5+ years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. Senior level: 7+ years of relevant experience; a related bachelor's degree is preferred.
