Family Nurse Practitioner

Location: Helena, Montana, United States; onsite at a Health Center. Full-time schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

What you will do

• Conduct physical examinations and preventive health measures according to clinical guidelines.
• Perform injections, suturing, wound care, infection management, and other clinical procedures.
• Develop patient care plans, document progress, and maintain continuity of care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe or recommend treatments, and refer patients when needed.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams and coach nursing staff on best practices.

Requirements

• Current RN and Nurse Practitioner licenses or certificates, including state prescriptive authority where applicable.
• Federal DEA license matching each applicable state of practice.
• Current ANCC or AANP national certification.
• Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support certification with hands-on training from AHA, ARC, or an equivalent provider; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required.
• At least three years of clinical Nurse Practitioner experience in ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, or emergency medicine.
