QHSE Engineer

Location: Oldsmar, Florida, United States; onsite at the Calgaz industrial specialty gas facility

What you will do

• Maintain and improve QMS and IMS compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO 11118, and ISO 17034 standards.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, controlled documentation, SOPs, work instructions, and quality records through Intelex.
• Lead root cause analysis, CAPA, 8D investigations, complaint resolution, RMAs, SCARs, and corrective actions.
• Support supplier and customer quality management, including technical investigations and sustainable solutions for product failures.
• Use SAP for quality notifications, inventory block and release, reporting, and compliance documentation.
• Support calibration, EHS training records, manufacturing troubleshooting, KPI analysis, and workflow automation initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance or operational excellence within a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and preferably ISO 17025, ISO 11118, and ISO 17034 compliance frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with quality management systems, preferably Intelex, and enterprise systems such as SAP.
• Expertise in 5-Why, Ishikawa/Fishbone, 8D, CAPA, calibration procedures, precision instruments, and inventory control.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, customer-focused, training, and audit facilitation skills.
• Proficiency with AI tools, preferably Gemini and Google Apps; a bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, management systems, operations, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
