HVAC Technician Support Helper (HVAC)

Location: El Paso, Texas; field-based work at customer locations

Hourly base pay: $13.87–$41.60

What you will do

• Coordinate with team leaders, project managers, and customers to plan on-site installations and repairs.
• Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up commercial HVAC systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair units using software, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
• Act as the direct customer contact and maintain customer satisfaction throughout assigned projects.
• Work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays as business needs require.
• Maintain high safety standards and record the use and condition of company assets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or completion certificate from an accredited technical school.
• Typically 0–2 years of HVAC experience; technical school or formal training is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld computers such as smartphones or iPads.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations or preventable collisions during the previous three years.
• Ability to work in a field-based environment at customer locations.

Nice to have

• EPA certification, such as HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, or Gas Installer certification.
