Resident Level II MT/PT/UT Technician (NDT)

Location: West Point, Virginia, United States. Must be local or willing to relocate. Onsite industrial work includes heights, confined spaces, operating equipment, radiation, hazardous materials, extended shifts, and travel.

What you will do

• Perform material examinations according to procedures, codes, standards, and specifications.
• Apply qualified Level II MT, PT, and UT inspection methods within their scope and limitations.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to trainees.
• Coordinate work scope and priorities with department managers and clients.
• Prepare written instructions and organize and report examination results.
• Work independently, support team members, and complete assigned technical tasks.

Requirements

• Meet the requirements for an NDT Level II Technician and provide documentation of relevant education, training, and experience.
• Working knowledge of industrial environments and general manufacturing processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to report issues and solve problems.
• U.S. Persons only due to access to information controlled under ITAR; eligible applicants include U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and successful completion of a drug screen.
• Ability to wear safety equipment, work at heights and in confined spaces, lift and carry up to 100 pounds, and work shifts of up to 12 hours per day and 7 days per week.
