Compliance Response Specialist I (Fintech)

Location: Remote within the United States; remote employees must reside in one of the approved states. Conditions: Rothschild, United States.

Salary: USD $60,000–$70,000 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate compliance response workflows from intake and stakeholder engagement through investigation and closure.
• Prepare responses to regulatory examinations, audit inquiries, consumer complaints, and internal escalations.
• Track corrective actions, validate closure evidence, and support compliance remediation activities.
• Work with business partners, regulators, and third parties to clarify expectations and maintain accountability.
• Conduct root cause analysis and support improvements to compliance controls and processes.
• Maintain compliance response reporting, metrics, and trend analyses.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience in compliance, risk management, regulatory affairs, or a related financial services function.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and applicable role-specific software.
• Ability to meet deadlines, work accurately under pressure, take direction, collaborate effectively, and adapt to change.
• Experience interacting with regulatory agencies, responding to legal process, and managing remediation activities is preferred.
