Electronic Assembler (PCB)

Location: Hollister, California, United States; onsite weekend shift, Saturday–Sunday, 5:00 AM–6:00 PM

Hourly salary: $20–$28 per hour, plus potential bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Perform production assembly operations on electronic components, subassemblies, and PCB units.
• Hand-load PCB assemblies using schematics, drawings, visual aids, and written instructions.
• Solder lead and lead-free electronic components, including fine-pitch components, under a microscope.
• Modify, rework, reassemble, and repair units while identifying soldering anomalies.
• Apply customer and engineering drawing callouts to assemblies and maintain IPC-based quality standards.
• Attend offsite training when required to maintain certification qualifications.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen or otherwise meet applicable U.S. Government export-control requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good mechanical aptitude and the ability to identify electronic component values.
• Working knowledge of ESD prevention and product handling.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions, schematics, customer drawings, and visual aids.
• Ability to work a weekend schedule from 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday.

Nice to have

• IPC-J-STD certification.
• IPC-A-610 certification or knowledge of electronic assembly acceptability standards.
• Prior soldering or electronics assembly experience; on-the-job training is provided.
