Logistics Coordinator - Transportation Operations (Logistics)

Location: Hybrid position based at the Oakville, Ontario office, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Salary: CAD 50,000–65,000 base salary per year, plus eligibility for an annual performance-based bonus

What you will do

• Manage the full order lifecycle using the Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Coordinate carrier selection, freight coverage, routing, rate negotiation, and shipment consolidation across transportation modes.
• Monitor shipment data, resolve errors and carrier invoice discrepancies, and proactively prevent service failures.
• Build effective relationships with contracted and regional carriers while maintaining professional customer communications.
• Analyze shipper, receiver, and carrier performance and recommend cost-saving or service-improvement initiatives.
• Train new customer and vendor users on TMS workflows and business practices.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain.
• Experience with over-the-road transportation in Canada.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Knowledge of Microsoft and/or Google Workspace.
• Ability to work from the Oakville, Ontario office on a hybrid schedule.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in transportation logistics or supply chain management.
• Understanding of cross-border transportation and the freight logistics industry.
• Experience with LTL, FTL, and flatbed transportation.
• Experience running BI reports, validating information, and delivering analytical insights.
