React Node Senior Software Engineer I (Healthcare)

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Market St), United States

Salary: $86,600–$144,400 annual U.S. national base pay; geographic differentials may apply. Maryland: $90,900–$151,700; New Jersey: $102,333–$163,467. Eligible for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain complex applications using React on the frontend and Node.js on the backend.
• Build seamless client-side and server-side integrations for responsive, scalable, and secure web applications.
• Develop interfaces for a large web monolith and small to moderate micro-frontends and services.
• Implement UI components aligned with enterprise design systems and technical standards, with strong accessibility, performance, and usability.
• Lead applications through the full software development life cycle, from requirements gathering and system design through deployment and maintenance.
• Improve release quality through continuous integration, code reviews, and automated testing.

Requirements

• Current frontend and backend experience with React and Node; both skills are required.
• Experience working on moderate to large web monoliths.
• Experience taking applications through the full project life cycle.
• Extensive experience with Agile software delivery.
• Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical professionals.
• Understanding of applications and products in the science, medicine, or education sectors.
