Data Analyst, Regulatory Analytics and Reporting (Crypto)

What you will do

• Design dashboards, compliance metrics, and regulatory reports for stakeholders, leadership, and regional compliance officers.
• Build and automate compliance data solutions, governance controls, workflows, and end-to-end data pipelines.
• Analyze complex datasets and develop scalable, audit-ready data models for regulatory reporting.
• Translate regulatory and business requests into reports and automated pipelines using Python, SQL, dbt, and Airflow.
• Lead cross-functional projects with analysts, engineers, and compliance teams while monitoring client data quality and coordinating remediation.
• Provide data insights and ad-hoc support for audits, examinations, risk assessments, and business needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis and data management within financial services or another regulated industry.
• Hands-on experience with compliance and regulatory reporting frameworks such as AML, KYC, Sanctions, MiCA, or MiFID.
• Expert SQL skills, including complex joins, CTEs, and analytical functions, plus Python experience with pandas, matplotlib, and plotly.
• Experience with dbt or similar data modeling tools and with setting up and managing orchestrated data pipelines.
• Proficiency with BI and visualization tools such as QuickSight, Power BI, or Superset.
• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Information Systems, or a related technical field, with strong communication skills and knowledge of cryptocurrency and financial markets.
