Senior Manager, Accounting Advisory (Skilled Nursing Industry Clients)

Location: Remote anywhere in the US; travel up to 10%.

Salary: $151,000–$203,000 base pay annually, with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Lead client advisory engagements at a CFO level and provide strategic financial and operational guidance.
• Build trusted relationships with client executives and deliver tailored solutions for skilled nursing and post-acute care organizations.
• Drive change management and modernize service delivery through technology, standardized processes, and best practices.
• Oversee multiple client teams and ensure accurate, timely completion of accounting engagements.
• Analyze financial performance, KPIs, profitability, and cash flow, then provide actionable recommendations.
• Develop budgets and forecasts, collaborate with revenue cycle, payroll, and cost-reporting teams, and mentor staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
• At least 8 years of relevant public accounting or industry accounting experience.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading organizational change, process improvement, and remote teams.
• Strong project management, relationship-building, financial analysis, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10% and work remotely from anywhere in the US.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, PointClickCare, or similar industry accounting software.
• Experience embracing and implementing new technologies.
