Enterprise Architect

Location: Wyoming, Michigan, United States; hybrid schedule with four days in the office and one day from home, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

What you will do

• Define application, information, and technical architecture visions and multi-year roadmaps aligned with business goals.
• Guide architecture governance, standards adoption, and the transition from current-state to future-state architecture.
• Design resilient, scalable architectures across applications, cloud and infrastructure, data integration, security, and business domains.
• Research emerging technologies, conduct hands-on proof-of-concepts, and lead vendor evaluations.
• Create reusable architectural patterns, frameworks, blueprints, decision records, and architectural health metrics.
• Coach and mentor domain architects, engineers, and IT specialists across cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of information technology experience or equivalent progressive architectural experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Architectural proficiency in at least two enterprise domains, including application, data and data integration, cloud infrastructure, security, or business architecture.
• Strong verbal, written, visual, and group facilitation skills, including the ability to explain technical trade-offs to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience leading through influence, building consensus, and mentoring across matrixed teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise migrations and modern cloud ecosystems, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with large-scale ERP platforms and enterprise integration frameworks.
• Hands-on experimentation, technical research, and continuous learning experience.
