Focus on qualifying suppliers, managing sourcing events, analyzing market intelligence, and resolving supply risks across a global organization.
Location: Hybrid role based in Polanco/Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, Mexico

What you will do
- Lead sourcing strategies for direct raw materials and packaging categories, including extracts, enzymes, botanicals, corrugated packaging, medicine bottles, lids, and caps.
- Develop supplier strategies, portfolios, sourcing initiatives, and commercial recommendations that support business growth and operational excellence.
- Lead negotiations covering pricing, payment terms, contracts, and supplier agreements.
- Manage sourcing events, tenders, bidding processes, supplier qualification, and onboarding with Quality, Operations, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor supplier performance, manage corrective action plans, and drive continuous improvement.
- Analyze market intelligence, cost drivers, supply risks, and emerging opportunities while supporting supply continuity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, or a related function.
- Experience with sourcing strategies for direct raw materials and packaging categories.
- Advanced English proficiency and the ability to work effectively in a global environment.
- Experience with supplier negotiations, contract management, sourcing projects, supplier performance, and vendor development.
- Knowledge of financial concepts, cost analysis, budgeting, payment terms, cash flow impact, ERP systems, and strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in Health & Biosciences, food ingredients, biotechnology, or manufacturing.
- Experience with Sage ERP.
- Knowledge of supplier relationship management methodologies and strategic procurement best practices.
- Experience in highly matrixed, multinational organizations with regional and global stakeholders.
