Senior Procurement Supervisor

What you will do

• Plan and implement procurement activities for materials, parts, components, and equipment.
• Direct buyers and expediters to meet procurement objectives.
• Review and approve purchases within the authorized dollar limit.
• Negotiate major contracts and monitor the cost, schedule, and performance of major subcontracts.
• Develop procurement policies and procedures and coordinate purchasing with engineering and manufacturing.
• Select, develop, and evaluate procurement personnel while supporting inventory and production control activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• English communication skills are required.
• At least 5 years of related experience.
• Ability to work in a professional office, laboratory, or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to communicate information accurately and use computers and office productivity equipment for extended periods.

Nice to have

• CPIM and/or APICS certification.
