Salary: $30.00–$51.00 per hour; an additional estimate of $29.50–$42.00 per hour is also listed.

What you will do

• Operate, repair, and maintain ultrapure water, pH, compressed air, chiller, boiler, HVAC, vacuum, air-handling, clean dry air compressor, and exhaust systems.
• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance and safety-related tasks through the automated maintenance system.
• Serve as the primary contact for Facilities maintenance issues and requests.
• Maintain spare-part and operational inventories to support continuous plant operation.
• Support quality, safety, environmental management, CQI, 5S, yield management, and cost-containment initiatives.
• Work throughout water plant, cleanroom, penthouse, and dock areas while using required chemical-protective garments and personal protective equipment.

Requirements

• Two years of vocational training and at least 10 years of on-the-job experience.
• Knowledge of ultrapure water treatment systems.
• General mechanical aptitude and systems troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of industrial waste discharge and hazardous waste management programs.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds frequently.
• Ability to work onsite in Bloomington, Minnesota, with frequent exposure to chemicals, odors, loud noise, and varying temperatures.
