Senior Software Engineer (AI/ML)

Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States. Hybrid work with primary in-office presence.

Annual salary: $117,000–$234,000, plus potential performance bonuses and stock.

What you will do

• Deliver scoped software features and models through design, implementation, testing, deployment, iteration, and support.
• Write reliable code and drive the full software development lifecycle, including CI/CD and automated testing.
• Integrate AI/ML components and generative AI tools to improve software capabilities and development velocity.
• Design, build, and maintain high-performance automated test frameworks for web and mobile applications.
• Develop reusable solutions for configuration, deployment, monitoring, performance, scalability, availability, security, and alerting.
• Coordinate testing for medium- and large-scale projects, mentor junior testers, communicate risks, and improve quality processes.

Requirements

• Experience with Selenium automation, JUnit, TestNG, mobile automation frameworks, Jenkins, and shell scripting.
• Experience with functional, integration, and end-to-end testing, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment, unit testing, and TDD.
• Programming experience with relevant technologies such as Java, Python, JavaScript, Spring, Node, React, or Angular.
• Experience integrating scalable backend services, including REST or GraphQL APIs, and using code repositories and version control.
• Experience integrating AI/ML components, using generative AI tools, monitoring application performance, and maintaining high-quality software.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of software engineering experience, or 5 years of relevant software engineering experience.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related area.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility practices.
