Audit Manager (Financial Services)

What you will do

• Lead and document one or two audit engagements simultaneously, managing teams and timelines.
• Define audit scope, complete risk assessments, develop testing strategies, and prepare planning documentation.
• Perform and oversee complex audit testing aligned with key controls and audit objectives.
• Lead stakeholder discussions, challenge audit observations, identify root causes, and draft recommendations.
• Prepare audit reports, executive summaries, validation reports, and failure memoranda where required.
• Identify and support opportunities to use advanced data analytics in audit testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant audit experience, including experience leading audit engagements and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Strong understanding of audit, risk, and accounting principles.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Relevant professional qualification such as CPA, CISA, CIA, ACA, or ACCA, completed or in progress.
• UK work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
