What you will do

  • Audit Global Markets business areas, Fixed Income and Equities products, and supporting functions across EMEA.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of Global Markets products, operations, and control processes.
  • Use data analytics and computer-assisted audit tools to support audits and risk assessments.
  • Contribute to audit scoping, planning, fieldwork, documentation, reporting, and control design assessments.
  • Identify risks, assess mitigating controls, execute audit testing, and recommend improvements to the control environment.
  • Present audit conclusions and findings to management, follow up on open issues, and support Internal Audit improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Approximately 7 or more years of experience auditing controls in internal audit, consulting, a regulatory body, compliance testing, risk, or a related control function.
  • Project management experience, including oversight and leadership of junior staff.
  • Thorough understanding of market, credit, liquidity, operational, and model risk management, as well as financial products.
  • Knowledge of financial markets rules and regulations, including CFTC, FINRA, Volcker, and SEC requirements.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, ownership, and accountability skills with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Graduate degree preferred; relevant certifications or industry accreditations such as ACA, CAMS, CIA, or CFA are advantageous.
