Senior Fund Accountant

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for a portfolio of funds, management companies, and related structures.
• Prepare, reconcile, and proof investor reports and statutory financial statements.
• Handle routine audit queries and liaise with clients and intermediaries.
• Complete bank reconciliations and maintain supporting transaction documentation within a robust control environment.
• Maintain accounting records in eFront and Excel working paper schedules.
• Process invoices and other payments, while mentoring junior staff under senior supervision.

Requirements

• At least part-qualified with a relevant professional qualification, preferably having started ACCA Professional level or ACA Advanced level.
• Comprehensive knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Previous experience preparing statutory financial statements is essential.
• Experience reviewing statutory accounts.
• Proficiency with Excel and the ability to work with new systems and software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Previous experience training, coaching, or mentoring junior staff.
• Industry experience in fund administration.
