Technical Specialist (Wealth Management)

What you will do

• Provide technical support and leadership to an investment operations team serving corporate and retail clients.
• Oversee day-to-day technical delivery, service standards, regulatory obligations, and financial risk within the functional area.
• Support change delivery from planning through implementation, including governance, testing, readiness, and continuous improvement.
• Manage error escalation, KPI and KRI delivery, operational resilience, risk events, breach reporting, and control attestations.
• Oversee technical controls for client assets and client money, fraud mitigation, compliance, and regulatory reporting.
• Engage with clients, custodians, consultants, regulators, auditors, boards, committees, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Significant technical operations experience in the wealth management or platform industry.
• Previous experience in operations management and client services.
• Extensive technical operational knowledge relevant to the assigned functional area.
• Experience in change management and operational transformation.
• Knowledge of the UK financial services and regulatory framework, including CASS, COBS, COLL, SYSC, HMRC, and tax regulations.
• Strong understanding of risk and compliance policies and processes in financial services.
