Contracts Specialist 2 (SaaS)

Location: 100% remote anywhere in the United States; based in Eagan, Minnesota. Travel may be required up to 10%.

Salary: $65,000–$85,000 USD annual base salary, plus bonus, benefits, perks, and community gains.

What you will do

• Review, draft, negotiate, and administer SaaS agreements, MSAs, software licenses, amendments, DPAs, BAAs, and public procurement terms.
• Own assigned agreements across the full lifecycle, including approvals, execution, renewals, amendments, terminations, and obligation handoffs.
• Identify contractual, operational, regulatory, security, privacy, revenue, and commercial implications, escalating high-impact issues with recommendations.
• Lead customer-facing negotiations and internal deal discussions while partnering with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Product, Security, Compliance, Legal Operations, and Proposals.
• Maintain accurate contract records, approvals, obligations, and lifecycle data in Salesforce and designated repositories.
• Improve templates, clause guidance, intake, approvals, reporting, and workflow consistency.

Requirements

• Degree, paralegal certification, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience reviewing, writing, redlining, managing, and negotiating contracts, preferably in a SaaS, healthcare, government procurement, or other highly regulated environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, project management, organization, and time-management skills.
• Working knowledge of CRM and ERP systems, preferably Salesforce, and understanding of data flows between sales, contracts, and finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems and workflows quickly while handling confidential information discreetly.
• Ability to work remotely from anywhere in the United States.
